January Challenges at Better Scrapbooking

Check out the challenges at Better Scrapbooking this month. You have until the end of January to enter the following challenges;


January Layout Challenge:
Your Summer Holidays. Create a layout of something you did over your Summer Holidays.

January Photo Challenge:
Fun in the Sun. Take a photo of you having fun in the "sun".

January Project Challenge:
Alter Something. Find something you can change the look of and alter it with your scrapbooking supplies. Let your imagination and creativity take flight with this challenge.

January Card Challenge:
Use Markers - Use them to colour your stamps, write a title or create a border. Lets see what you do with your Markers.

Funny how holidays never seem to be relaxing.  Ive been busy doing Geo's 8x8 album but that has come to a halt with two....two I tell you, Pages left.  I had started on Miss D's album, she is going to be 21 in march and her mum asked me if I would kindly do her an 8x8 album mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yup why not!!

christmas is over

well that's it Christmas is over and the New Year is about to be rung in. yippee here's to 2011 may we all be a bit more merry and wise.

I have also almost finished Georgia's 11 Years of Me.  I ad better hurry up or it will need to be 12 years of her, lol. here is a page I did last week (hurry hurry get it finished)

I do like those little lollipop flowers.

sorry I havent been here

but we have just had our christmas party for the auckland branch of the child cancer foundation and its been my job to organize for the last four years whew what a cracker this year.

had a busy few days

bugger Im knackered!  Ive been away from home for a few days as I am very bust with our child cancer foundation auckland branchs christmas party and this year northland are coming too so 700 people that means and 350 of them are under 12 and get presents.  Kathie and I have been busy picking up the wonderful donated prezzies and sorting them ready for the amazing ladies who come and wrap them all for us.  (I will admit in all the years Ive been doing this I have never wrapped a single gift)  here are some photo's of the before we sorted and after they are sorted into age and sex piles
